Sandown 14:00 - Cannock Chase
Cannock Chase has shown major run-to-run progress in four outings so far, landing a good Newbury handicap before running out an impressive winner of a Group 3 at Royal Ascot when last seen in June. He promises to make an even better four-year-old and is one to follow closely this season.
Sandown 14:30 - Shifting Power
Shifting Power boasts some very strong Group 1 form from last year and can enhance the Hannons' outstanding record in this event. Shifting Power was well below his best when last seen at Glorious Goodwood, but he'd previously run with credit in top-level contests such as the 2000 Guineas and Prix Jean Prat, and he can make a winning reappearance.
Sandown 16:45 - Jack Hobbs
There are some promising types on show here, none more so than Jack Hobbs who left several subsequent winners trailing in his wake when scoring on debut over an extended mile at Wolverhampton in December. Jack Hobbs will be suited by this stiffer test and, with improvement on the cards, he should take this before going on to better things in 2015.
