Newmarket 14:10 - Wordcraft
Wordcraft has made a fantastic start to her career, winning impressively at Newmarket on debut before scoring at Kempton with a bit in hand on handicap debut, and she is expected to take this en route to better things. Angel Vision and Taqneyya both represent good yards and may still have more to offer, but Wordcraft has looked a very useful prospect in winning both starts and should be capable of completing the hat-trick.
Newmarket 14:40 - Easton Angel
Easton Angel has made a tremendous start to her career, simply unlucky to bump into a juvenile of the calibre of US raider Acapulco in the Queen Mary Stakes, and she sets the standard based on that Royal Ascot runner-up effort. Illuminate confirmed herself a smart prospect when scoring in the Albany Stakes and she is likely to pose the biggest threat to Easton Angel, but Michael Dods' stable star has created a fantastic impression so far and is expected to bounce back to winning ways, with the step up to six furlongs unlikely to pose a problem based on the way she kept on last time.
Newmarket 17:30 - Express Himself
Express Himself may have his quirks (often slowly away) but there's no doubt that he's a horse firmly on the up at present and he is likely to prove extremely difficult to beat in the finale. Express Himself looked some way ahead of his mark when overcoming a poor start to win in ready fashion at Haydock, impressing with how readily he made his headway, and he can take this contest en route to a crack at some top-end handicaps.
