Maggie Pink was unsuited by the emphasis on stamina when second to Bint Dandy at Chelmsford, but circumstances should be more favourable to her style here. Sonnetation and Semaral are both live threats in a small but open field.

Simmply Sam has made a very pleasing start to her handicap career, getting off the mark at Ayr three weeks ago, and she can go in again given a subsequent 2 lb rise is very fair. Fellow last-time-out winner Sendiym has to be respected, with Irish-raider Binowagh Bay another to note.
