Gavlar - 15:15 Goodwood
Gavlar is unexposed as a stayer and is fancied to go one better having only just failed over 14 furlongs here last time. Course winner Civil War caught the eye on Flat return at Windsor and is an obvious threat, while Fitzwilly shaped as if needing the run behind the selection here on his belated reappearance and is entitled to finish a bit closer.
Jellicle Ball - 16:25 Goodwood
Jellicle Ball was found to be heavily in season when flopping in the 1000 Guineas and has been found a good opportunity to bounce back over a trip she should stay. Lady of Dubai was very progressive last year and should make an even better three-year-old, so is a clear next best, though Loaves And Fishes remains open to plenty of improvement.
Soluble - 19:35 Sandown
Soluble just didn't have things go his way when a beaten favourite on his handicap bow at Salisbury earlier this month and is worth another chance to show he's on a favourable mark. However, there are plenty of possible dangers in what looks a red-hot 3-y-o handicap, headed by Sir Michael Stoute's Dartmouth and Luca Cumani's Windsor debut-scorer Richard of Yorke.
