I am going to take a chance with Entwine in this interesting $50k claimer on the Widener turf.

This Fast Company filly finished third to Gambling Cat on US debut at Tampa Bay Downs in March. She made a strong four wide move at the entrance to the straight, and finished willingly without troubling the winner. This was a super effort and would have learned a lot from the outing. She won a Newmarket maiden in great style last October, and clearly has ability. The Widener turf will suit her down to the ground. It has a long sweeping turn, which suits runners from Europe. She should be a decent price so BSP is recommended.

Tri Saint Lorenzo upset minded

Race 2 18:31 Belmont Park - Tri Saint Lorenzo

Tri State Lorenzo could run well at a big price in this $14k non-winner of three on the main track.

This gelding has been highly tried since winning a $25k non-winner of two impressively at Aqueduct last December. He disappointed on his latest start over this course when finishing well beaten at the $35k level on a sloppy track. The conditions did not suit, and this run is best forgotten. This is his easiest task to date, and a reproduction of his best effort would see him go close. Trainer Carlos Martin dispenses with the blinkers, and has engaged the services of apprentice Luis Cardenas who had a big priced winner here yesterday. BSP is recommended.
