Isildur1 wins $1.1m in 30 hour session

For the past couple of weeks the mystery Swede only known as "Isildur1" has been dipping his toes back into online poker's waters. Playing relatively small stakes of $25/$50 and $50/$100 initially but at the start of this week he made his return to the nosebleed stakes and managed to clean up after a marathon session.

Whether his return is down to Tony G staking him as promised or simply that he has got his confidence back remains a mystery but railbirds the world over went into a frenzy when he sat down at eight, yes eight, tables of $100/$200 heads-up no-limit Hold'em tables against one of the best HU players online, Isaac "luvtheWNBA" Hatton. A relatively short session of 2,022 hands saw our hero walk away with over $90,000 profit.

Most players would be more than happy with banking this huge win but "Isildur1" is not most players. He almost immediately sat down on six tables of $200/$400 against Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo and two and a half hours later emerged victorious to the tune of $567,515. Just as the session ended, Bonomo announced that someone who agreed o buy some of his action, had pulled out and asked the Swedish phenom if he minded moving down to $100/$200 instead but he declined.

He then decided to play four tables of $300/$600 pot-limit Omaha but after a short time three of the tables broke, leaving him playing one short-handed table and three more heads-up against Tom "durrrr" Dwan, the man who he scalped for close to $5,000,000 a couple of months ago.

Those expecting another epic heads-up battle between the two were soon disappointed as "Isildur1" left soon after winning a $254,387 pot, when "durrrr" refused to play him at no-limit Hold'em. "Isildur1" offered to come back online later and play Dwan but he failed to do so, probably tired after playing almost non-stop for 30 hours.

When the dust had settled and all the money had been counted up, including the $232,000 he won from his arch-rival Dwan, "Isildur1" had managed to reap in profits of $1,187,406 in little over a day's worth of play.
