'You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment'.
There have been rumours spreading around the poker world that mystery high stakes player Isildur1 has been spinning up his bankroll on Betfair Poker.
Being just a humble writer, I am not privy to confidential client information but with my ear to the ground I have picked up some interesting facts about a player who goes under the poker alias of Omlphalotus.
Firstly, the player in question is Swedish - the same nationality as Isildur1 - and is certainly playing the type of nosebleeds stakes expected from the most talked about online player for years.. A railbird told me he was seen recently with just under 400k at the tables waiting for action at some 250/500 and 100/200 NL HU tables.
Perhaps more importantly, I have it on good authority that he emerged on Betfair Poker at the same time Isildur1 appeared on other popular poker sites..
Other factors that have stoked this rumour include railbirds noticing Omlphalotus playing a similar style to Isildur1 as well as enjoying long sessions multi-tabling.
You can read how the rumours emerged here at the excellent High Stakes News.
Prospective railbirds can track down Omlphalotus using Betfair Poker's popular Find Player feature in the poker client.
