Unless you are lucky enough to be a poker professional you will have the unfortunate task of having to juggle your budding poker career with your nine-to-five job.
You probably grind tens of thousands of hands each month hoping to one day win big so you can tell your boss where they can stick there job as you're off to click a mouse and win a house! Anyway, here are a few pointers that you probably play too much poker.
* Your desk at work resembles a book shop with your Harrington On Hold'em series and Theory of Poker taking pride of place.
* You start to wear your sunglasses to important meetings
* You actually say "LOL" out loud
* You have never actually met most of your "friends" instead you communicate through forums, blogs and instant messenger
* When you buy anything you think of it in terms of buy-ins rather than actual money
* You riffle your coins when waiting in a queue
* You see registration plates ending in the likes of OMG, WTF, GFY and laugh a little inside
* You don't tell lies, you bluff
* Your desktop has more poker clients on it than actual programmes
* It is not a bonus you receive at work, it's rakeback that you were owed
* You don't earn £15 per hour, it's more like 7.5bb/100
* You know the odds of flopping a straight, the probability of the turn card completing a flush yet you have no clue about your partner's birthday or the date of your anniversary.
* Your wardrobe contains at least three articles of poker site branded clothing
There are probably dozens more that I've missed, please feel free to leave a comment with any you can think of.
