On a day when most of the cards could rival 'The Times Cryptic' in terms of toughness, Darrell Williams heads to Manchester for a brace of solid well argued selections
Fado Queen has hit the crossbar three times in as many starts recently but holds excellent leadability claims in the opener at 1418 and might just finally get the monkey off her back. Her last two runs have certainly suggested she is more than fast enough to beat an average A4 field and given that she's far from all just about early pace, she looks worth an interest at [4.5] or bigger.
The closing A2 at 1818 looks perhaps more open, but Shaws Heighway should appreciate a slightly wider draw, which can hopefully offer him a clearer run than of late. He certainly wins the contest on consistency grounds, and the presence of improving youngsters Baltylum Droopy and Noirs Simon can ensure the price is right! Take [5.0] or higher.
