Ed Nicholson takes a look at Nottingham's BAGS card this evening and pinpoints a couple of early pace sorts he expects to make every metre tonight.....

Loopy United has a great chance of making every metre in today's 7.48pm from Nottingham.

The July 2007 whelp has the perfect draw in trap one and should get first run on both the trap two and trap three runners in this contest. If making the first turn in front of his rivals, I feel he should go on and take the race, although it must be noted that he has been caught close home in four of his last five A1 races.

However, Loopy United has the fastest recorded time of any here, and given that there are no real power finishes, he can hold on this time - but I wouldn't want to see the striped jacketed runner turn handy around the first two bends, as that one can finish strongly. But Loopy United has the form, the early speed, and the record (no dog in this field has won more times than him at Colwick Park) to take this, so take anything over [3.3].

Galbraithsrocket has not been upped in grade for winning an A4 last week, and given his draw in trp six in Notitngham's 6.44pm, he must have every chance of making every metre again.

There is no question that given even just an average exit from the traps, he should lead his field around the fist two corners as his sectional times are one or two lengths better than his rivals. And given an early uncontested lead there is no reason why the in form August 2007 whelp can't post another time near to 31.40. If that was the case he would have to go very close, and given any early scrimmaging will help him, I rate him the second best bet on the card. take anyhing better than [3.5].
