Known to many as simply TQ, Tareq spent his early life in West Yorkshire. It was here that he developed his passion for sports and betting with the local racetracks and rugby league grounds being regular haunts even during his childhood years.

Now firmly ensconced in London life he has worked at Betfair since 2002 where he has worked on every sport at some point. If you have a few hours to spare TQ will happily talk about virtually every sport known to man.

His passions lie in so many areas but certainly rugby league, golf and football top the list. His dream would be for to Featherstone Rovers to get into the Super League and for Aston Villa to be kings of Europe once again. His sporting heroes are Muhammad Ali and Andy Farrell, but if the table at dinner was for four he would extend an invite to Tiger Woods to join them.
