Phil Thompson

Timeform’s Phil Thompson has been a racing enthusiast since a young age and has always wanted to work in racing. Phil initially took a different career path, graduating from Lancaster University with a criminology degree and joining the West Yorkshire Police Force, during which time he also took a six-month break to live in China with his wife, Kate.

Although Phil’s first love will always be National Hunt racing (sorry Kate!), he works in the Flat racing team within the Editorial Department at Timeform House and, as such, Phil will have his attentions primarily focused on the level from now on.
