Paul Smith

Paul Smith has been working in horseracing for 15 years in a variety of guises, ranging from starting out at Ladbrokes to his current position as a freelance journalist, via the world of bloodstock insurance.

Although the majority of his work is for the Racing Post as a Spotlight writer, you can also hear him as a guest pundit on Timeform Radio. Paul has a preference for Flat racing, particularly the all-weather, and has been specialising in that area in recent years.

Away from horseracing, Paul is a fan of most other sports, both watching and playing, and still sacrifices Saturday afternoons in front of the TV for a game of cricket for the mighty Geddington CC.
