In the early summer of 2000 I was phoned by a friend asking if I wanted help set-up a sports betting website. Little did I know that a small office in Russell Square housing 14 or so (very) young looking folk would turn into Betfair as we live and breathe. All bar two of those fourteen have left to chase dreams (some of a dubious nature) across the globe, though the ageing and weight gain process appears to have affected us all remarkably similarly.
