David Cleary

David Cleary first worked for Timeform in 1983, and, among many roles, he was the Editor of the Chasers & Hurdlers Annual for eight years. He continues to work for the organisation as a racecourse reporter and as an essay writer for both the Chasers & Hurdlers and Racehorses Annuals.
He also worked for The Sportsman during its brief existence. David is a regular pundit on Timeform Radio and is a previous winner and runner-up in the Horserace Writers Annual tipping competition. His first love is jump racing and the Cheltenham Festival is his favourite meeting of the year.
