Andrew Sheret

Andrew Sheret has been hooked on racing since trips to local courses Redcar and Catterick.

A career in racing seemed the logical step, and he got his break as an editorial assistant with the Timeform organisation in early 1999.

He spent an initial 7 years in Halifax, the majority of which were spent as a racecourse reporter, covering all the major meetings.

In 2006 he left to become Jamie Spencer's agent, helping him to a share of the jockeys' title the following year.

Andrew returned to racing journalism in 2010, and currently works as part of Timeform's short comments team, and also contributes to the Racing Post.
