Reynolds again at Romford

Trainer Jim Reynolds continued his excellent run of form when Back By Daylight landed the Gerry Allen Quicksilver Trophy in style at Romford on Friday night.

The heavily backed daughter of Daves Mentor was poetry in motion as she pinged the lids from trap six before powering away to an impressive all-the-way one-and-a-half length success over Mark Cottee's Sittingbourne representative Dainty Prince (T4) in the £750 final.

The likeable individual was awarded the Coronation Cup over the course and distance in January after the disqualification of In The Woods, but won strictly on merit on this occasion, and the talented October 04 whelp looks set to prove a tough nut to crack in the coming months.

The Reynolds' kennel is chockfull of stars at present, with the likes of Ardbeg Hurricane, Postle Supreme, Ceroc Dancer, Holmes Shauna, Borna Moon and As Time Slips By amongst many more of his smart Open racers likely to reward his army of followers in the coming months.
