Wise Thought is now clear favourite for the Derby.
Martin White's dog beat Windy Millar in probably the best duel of the entire third round and has finally drawn his preferred trap six in Tuesday's quarter-finals.
Down to [5.7] in the outright market, he has taken over from Fear Zafonic ([8.6]) after the long-time Derby favourite was drawn with kennelmates Bandicoot Tipoki and Farloe Reason in an extraordinary third quarter-final.
Wise Thought, who has former top-six trainer Carly Philpott assisting with his preparation, runs from six in the first quarter-final.
Other Derby titbits: The Champagne Club, disappointed to lose Bubbly Totti at the second-round stage, can thank its chairman Steve Fluin for giving greyhound racing's largest syndicate an enjoyable Derby.
Fluin snapped up the Paul Donovan-trained runner to give the 'Bubbly Club' a Derby interest should the event come too soon for their St Leger winner.
And the move has been rewarded with a quarter-final place for Bubbly Maestro.

Trap three has been the leading trap throughout the Derby, although there has been a fair spread of results across the traps.
Ironically, the bad press that trap one at Wimbledon receives, is not borne out this year with the red jacket the second most prolific box.

Boherna Best, a surprise casualty in Saturday's third round, could return in the Derby Plate, the heats of which share the spotlight with the semi-finals and the Champion Hurdle heats at the weekend.

There is a growing belief that Walthamstow has a chance to rise from the dead.
Rumours circulating suggest the company which owns the land could be open to offers after it was confirmed they paid just over £18m for the stadium, which closed in August.
"It's still a 33-1 chance, but were a company, or a bunch of investors, ready to step in and make a bid then it's possible. And then the real work would begin to get it back up and running.
"The Stow has a huge catchment area and its return could be the shot in the arm the sport requires."
