Darrell Williams marks your card with a trio of back bets for Saturday's dogs action...
Officer Donagh, one of the sprinters of the season, has returned to form after a below par period with wins at Hall Green and Monmore in the last fortnight. And it's to the latter track that he returns on Saturday night (8.28) having got within four spots of the track-record when scoring last weekend. The presence of useful four bend performer Aulton George is a slight concern, but he's unlikely to have the early speed to match the selection, and he should ensure we get a backable price. Take [2.5] or bigger.
SIS's coverage of Shelbourne Park gives betting shop viewers a chance to watch the Irish Derby semi-finals and from what I've seen College Causeway already has one paw on the trophy. While he has drawn by far the toughest semi (9.30), he has been awesome in the event so far, including when breaking the track-record in the first round, and I'd recommend both a wager for this race ([1.8] or bigger would suffice) and outright (3.0 available).
Skywalker Galaxy (2.24 Newcastle) has been found a weak looking opportunity to break his duck after two near misses since dropping down to A3 level. His rivals all struggle to get their heads in front as well and if you can get [3.5] or bigger I'd take it.
