"Tradewise Girl is a consistent sort and has won seven of her 42 races at Romford, having won five of her 32 races from the orange jacket and 16% of her A7 races. She also boasts the best recent time of 24.95, achieved last time out when finishing runner up seven days ago in the same grade."
Three selections for this Thursday's column....
Tradewise Girl looks to have a decent draw in the opening contest at Romford this afternoon, the 2.08pm.
Drawn in trap five, the July 2006 whelp has Girl Alone outside, and although the striped jacketed runner should lead, there's every chance that Tradewise Girl will turn just in behind and be able to make a run inside the other wide seed down the back straight.
If that was to be the case, there's nothing much in the race who could mount a serious challenge from behind and Tradewise Girl is a worth a punt at anything around [4.50].

There's a very competitive Totesport Gold Collar Final at Belle Vue tonight live on SKY, and I reckon Franks Lad, drawn on the wide outside - and the only wide seed in the race - can make every yard from trap six at 9.45pm.
Having posted a smart 35.30 last week, he has the beating of the five dog, Southwind Harry, on that formline, and Paul Young's Westmead Hawk November 2006 whelp has improved for every run at the Belle Vue stadium. It is an open contest but at around [6.0] I think he's worth chancing tonight.
Finally, Elaine Parker's greyhounds are always worth a second look at Sheffield, and her Quiet Banner is expected to go mighty close in the 1.44pm, the penultimate race of a twelve race lunchtime BAGS card from the Owlerton Stadium today. Quiet Banner is six from 28 and has what looks a nice make up in trap three today and as long as he can avoid any first bend tussles, he can return home a winner today!
