Ed Nicholson hit the cross bar yetserday when both selections finished second, but he's unearthed a couple of greyhounds today he feels are worth following at Nottingham tonight...

Sheepwalk Fayre looks to have the perfect draw in Nottingham's 7.22pm and he can finally pass the winning post in front having had several near misses in recent weeks.

The July 2006 whelp has a relatively good burst of early pace and in his last three races at the track he has led until at least the final bend on each ocassion. This time he is housed in between two relatively slow starters and he looks certain to lead into and out of the first bend as none of the other five dogs in the contest can boast consistent sectionals anywhere near his 5.22 seconds.The downgraded striped jacketed runner is a danger as he can trap smartly at times and I would like to see our fellow trap better than him.

However, the strong running dogs in behind may be too far adrift to make any serious inroads into the trap four runner and I take Sheepwalk Fayre to land this A5 contest. take anything over [3.5].

Half an hour later at 7.52pm, Mr Maker looks to have been given a fantastic chnace of making all. The Top Honcho whelp has the fastest sectional and fastest final recorded time and as long as he can slip through on the rails early on, I dont think he'll relinquish the lead - he should secure the all important rails passage from trap one, and it's just a question of whether he can wrest the early lead away from ther trap three runner. I think he will so back him at anything over [4.0].
