"With both Farloe Lee and Romeo Maldini in the field we could get a touch of value as both those fast greyhounds will have their supporters following good recent track runs - but Eye Onthe Storm, is, in my opinion, a class above them and it would be something of a shock should he get beaten today. Take anything over [2.00]."
Eye Onthe Storm looks Nap material in Nottngham's 8.04pm, which is an Eclipse trial stakes race.
The Mark Wallis trained dog has done little wrong recently and has won his last two races - one at Hall Green and one at Wimbledon - both over 480 metres - very easily; indeed by an aggregate of 11.75 lengths.
He has a decent trap draw in two, and should get first run on the trap one runner and must simply blow these away down the long back straight.

A little later on the Nottingham Open race card tonight, Charlier Lister's Ninja Jamie takes to the track again at 9.22pm. This Droopys Maldini whelp won at long odds on at Sheffield when drawn well in six among a field of slow starting middle seeds.
This previoulsy injury prone March 2006 whelp has been nursed back to health by Lister and his team, but I feel that me may just be overbet tonight, and that last win - achieved at 2-7 was a bit of a 'gimme'. Let's lay him at odds on, as there at least two dogs who could give him a race, while I think he may just meet trouble in this race too drawn in trap three with a fast starting blue jacketed runner likely to cause him problems up the run up tonight. Lay him at anything over [1.80].
