Speaking on Betfair's Greyhound Magazine this week are...

* Charlie Lister on Wednesday celebrated his ninth victory in the Betfair-sponsored East Anglian Derby. The Nottinghamshire-based trainer coaxed a track-record run from Ninja Jamie in the Yarmouth final and he talks about that runner's future plans and others.

* Pat Buckley has recovered from the disappointment of seeing his Slip The Lark caught on the line by Shelbourne Aston in the Irish Derby Final and is now campaigning on two fronts in the Irish Laurels and Puppy Derby. He also has plans for the exceptional talent that is College Causeway.

* It's the Great Greyhound Gathering at Nottingham track on Saturday and plans are well advanced for the occasion according to Kim Holmes, the organiser. The concept has been designed to raise the public profile of the greyhound. Kim talks about that and ways the breed is used as part of therapeutic treatments.

* William Reid and his brother Andy train Crown Rover, one of the most impressive pups on the circuit from the base at Wishaw in Lanarkshire. The Northern Puppy Derby at Sunderland is the last juvenile event he is eligible for. William discusses that event and what the future holds for this powerful, strong-running youngster.
