Hollylake Boy can't put a paw wrong at the moment but faces a determined rival as he bids for a four-timer over hurdles at Belle Vue on Friday.
Andy Heyes' black and white flyer has a great opportunity to maintain his impressive winning run at the Manchester track and is bound to be popular in the ring.
On each of his three wins, the son of Droopys Vieri has been a hot favourite and his blistering opening speed and fluent jumping technique has proved too much for his opponents.
Another victory should see the September 2004-whelp graduate to Open race action and it will surely take a huge effort from one of the other dogs to prevent him romping home again.
However, Screaming Witness got to within a fast diminishing three quarters of a length of Holylake Boy when he completed his treble on May 22 and subsequently destroyed his rivals back on the flat at A4 grade.
Ray Andrews' black dog is clearly running into great form and connections will be hopeful he can turn the tables on the hurdling hot-pot on Friday.
