Belle Vue's Galipip Showgirl (T1) has had plenty of critics over the past few weeks - and rightly so.
She had several opportunities to open her account but a lack of confidence has proved her undoing at the expense of her faithful followers.
However, last Saturday the July 05 bitch, trained by Ron Smith, finally showed her true colours.
She ran riot in a basement grade race, coming home more than eight lengths clear and clocking a personal best 28:75 on the stopwatch.
She faces a double penalty on Friday in the 20:05 Grade A6 470M Flat contest but will turn up in a similar frame of mind and nothing is likely to stop her.
