A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way....

Not a joke exactly, more a farce. An unusual rule for the 1994 Caribbean Cup stated that, in the event of a game going to sudden death extra time, the winner would be awarded a two goal victory.

It's not entirely clear what the point of this innovation was, but what could possibly go wrong? Well, Barbados went into their final group-stage match with Grenada needing to win by two goals to qualify. At 2-1 with five minutes left, the Barbadians deliberately scored an own goal to tie the game, which would send it into extra time and give them another half hour to break down the defence.

The Grenadians realized what was going on, and attempted to score an own goal as well, which would put Barbados back in front by one goal and send them out of the competition. However, the Barbados players started defending their opposition's goal to prevent them doing this. Grenada started attacking both ends of the pitch. Barbados held firm for those five minutes, then scored a winner in extra-time that gave them a 4-2 win and a place in the next round.

The rule is not in place for Grenada's Gold Cup game with Haiti this evening. In all competitions, 13 of Grenada's last 15 matches have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

Recommendation: Back Over 2.5 Goals at [2.34] in Haiti v Grenada
