A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

If only there was no American football, a man named Chad Ochocinco would be a real footballer and this column could be all about him all of the time. As it is, he's stuck doing his day job in the NFL and can't get time off to turn out for Barcelona, while the Joker has to find tenuous connections (yes, that is the same link, just look further down the page this time) so that he can tell you all about Chad.

So it looks like Chad has some football friends. Perhaps he doesn't know what happens to football friends over here. (If you want, stick 'football', 'friends' and 'The Inbetweeners' into YouTube and don't hold the Joker responsible for any bad language.)

And it's times two if they're Ashley Cole or Marco Materazzi.

Unfortunately now, space is short here, and your time for this column probably is too, so we'll continue on with Chad tomorrow. In the meantime, focus yourselves on Goias versus Cruzeiro in the Brazilian Campeonato.
