A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

A 2-2 draw at the Luigi Ferraris last night and the Joker is racing towards a good profit for the week and another shot at Joker Slam (five wins in a row, you'll doubtless recall).

Like Silvio Berlusconi before him, success in Italy has gone to head. He even found himself amused by one of Silvio's favourite jokes yesterday:

'Is Einstein dead?' Asks the son of a mafioso. 'Yes,' his dad replies. 'Was he killed by the mafia?' The son asks. 'Yes,' says the mafioso, 'because he knew too much.'

Probably best that the Joker moves on to Spain now, where Atletico Madrid are at home to Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. Athletic haven't won on the road in 2010 (W0-D3-L4), while Atletico have won five out of six at the Vicente Calderon this year.

Recommendation: Back Atletico Madrid at [2.02] to beat Athletic Bilbao
