A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

The Joker's really supposed to choose a game from today, but the pickings are slimmer than his Christmas goose. Only two games, and they'll both be over by early afternoon.

Actually, the Joker's goose might turn out to be quite fat. He's writing this before he knows the results from last night's Belgian Cup, and if his bets were winners, there'll be vegetables too. But, whether he can afford it or not (can he afford not to?) he'll be taking an interest in tomorrow's early game between Chirag United and Mohammedan SC.

There's not much of a form guide for the Indian Federation Cup - this is only the second round of matches this season - but you have to imagine that at least the visitors won't be suffering any kind of festive hangover. Expect them to score, but probably still to lose. In which case, the bet to make is Over 2.5 Goals.
