A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

Atletico Mineiro and Santos produced five goals between them in the Copa do Brasil last night. One of Santos's little helpers was a chap named Robinho, who was more obliging than his reputation in scoring one of their two goals. But heartfelt thanks to all who were involved.

In the same competition, there's a game tonight between Fluminense and Gremio. The latter have a talented and indolent old boy of their own, but Ronaldinho is yet to make the return journey from Milan. Even without him, there's no reason to suppose the match won't be just as high-scoring. This year, 8/10 of Fluminense's home games have included at least three goals, as have 8/11 of Gremio's away matches.

Who needs Ronaldinho?*

* That's just a rhetorical question. Strictly speaking, there are quite a few teams in the world that could use him, including the Joker's own Wednesday night five-a-side lot.
