A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

Coming off his first losing week in a while, the Joker doesn't feel too bad. The warm, radioactive glow from a weekend in the sun is a false friend, and he won't be allowed anywhere near the World Cup next month, so perhaps it's the prospect of Portugal's warm-up friendly with Cape Verde that's soothing him.

Nani was born there, Henrik Larsson's dad is a local and the islanders speak Portuguese, but you'd be hard pressed to find a fourth reason why Cape Verde are suitable fill-ins for Brazil, Portugal's group-stage rivals. Still, Portugal have six clean sheets out of six since September, they've shown no mercy to their former colony in the past - they won this fixture 4-1 before the last World Cup - and are likely to indulge themselves this evening.
