The Joker's Bet of the Day: Back Under 2.5 Goals at [1.64] in Nantes v Nimes
A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...
After the BBC's Halloween MOTD2 horror show on Sunday night - Wayne Boo-ney? Is that really the best you can do? Ro-bat Green? - the Joker was grateful to Matt Smith and the ITV lads for not getting too heavily involved with Guy Fawkes during last night's Lech Poznan-Man City-PSG-Dortmund double header. Much better, as PSG-Dortmund stayed goalless for 45 minutes, the soothingly familiar exposition of the football-as-chess-match point of view, transitioning seamlessly into the someone's-got-to-light-the-blue-touch-paper-second-half solicitation. Textbook.
There will be fireworks this evening, of course, but hopefully not in FC Nantes's Ligue 2 home match with Nimes. Not least because they would scare the Canaries. Five of Norwich City's French doppelgangers' six previous games at the Beaujoire-Louis this season have quietly stayed Under 2.5 Goals. Les Crocodiles of Nimes wouldn't know what to make of them either, as the same proportion of their away fixtures have fizzled quietly out.
Recommendation: Back Under 2.5 Goals at [1.64] in Nantes v Nimes
