A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

The Joker's often been ambivalent about the idea of 'more proof, if it were needed'. If, as implied, there's already some proof out there, then, by definition, you already have sufficient evidence to establish something is true and more proof is not needed - never needed, in fact.

But, just in case you doubted that his sense of a bet has improved this week, last night's goalless draw between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Rubin Kazan means it's three wins out of four so far and that surely is proof enough.

Today, then, is just about gilding the lily. Where better to do that than Buenos Aires (just down the road from El Dorado, right?)? Since the beginning of October, Boca Juniors have won 6/9 at La Bombonera, while their visitors this evening, Estudiantes, have been struggling with their grades, losing 7/9 on the road.

Recommendation: Back Boca Juniors at [2.36] to beat Estudiantes
