A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

Those two Polish teams with hard-to-remember names only got a third of the way to three goals yesterday, leaving the Joker needing a win to round off another successful week at the coalface of sports betting.

He's also in need of a column. Which is why he's going to run something past you. It's a pun. He's not aware of it having been made in public before. It might be quite good, but it probably asks too much of its audience. Anyway,

Umm. On reflection, it's moment has probably passed. And even then it's hard to know what you might have done with it.

Best stick to the betting. Familiar ground this evening as Chateauroux take on Dijon in France's Ligue 2, but there's a twist. Seven of Chateauroux's last 10 home games and four of Dijon's last six on the road have gone Over 2.5 Goals.
