We have two new contestants this week battling it out to stay on. Find out why...

We're pretty angry this week. We invented a fantastic competition called Winner Stays On with a pretty straightforward format. Two contestants pick three bets across three matches and whoever does best is the winner. He stays on and plays the following week. But this only works, boys and girls, if we actually have a winner each week. Last week we had two losers. Between them they were incapable of picking one winning bet. Shame on you! Luckily it's covered in our rules that if both contestants get nil points they're both eliminated and we bring in two fresh faces to try and rectify matters. Try to actually pick a winner. Who knows, maybe even pick two!

But we're not selfish people here at Betfair Towers. It's not just that we want to restore the reputation of our wonderful competition, we also want to help these people. We want them to become winners, not just for the sake of future tipping competitions but also in terms of the bigger picture that is...life.

What they need is some guidance, a father figure to look up to, someone whose strong character and wisdom makes them a perfect role model to follow. With this in mind we sent (all expenses paid, first class tickets) to spend a week in the company of Paul Robinson. We're confident they'll come back better for it and when they return we may even give them a second chance at playing Winner Stays On. Yes, folks, we really are that fair. We're Betfair.
