"The Joker's Bet of the Day: Back St Johnstone at [1.62] to beat Arbroath"
A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...
For a small town trapped somewhere between Dundee and Aberdeen, Arbroath has got to go down as an interesting place. Seriously. There are at least two things that the Joker can think of that make it stand out. There's the Arbroath Smokie, an unusually tasty part of Scottish cuisine involving haddock. Then, of course, there are the events of 12 September 1885, when the Red Lichties stuck 36 past Bon Accord without reply and set a world record that still stands today.
The lads are at home to St Johnstone in the CIS Cup this evening, but they haven't won a home match in the competition against a team that doesn't contain Albion in their name (Rovers and Stirling) for years. St Johnstone smoked Stenhousemuir 5-0 in the last round, and can do the same here.
Recommendation: Back St Johnstone at [1.62] to beat Arbroath
