Try keeping the Joker away from the US Open Cup at the moment. The 96th edition of America's oldest football competition has been scorching.

The first of tonight's quarter-finals pits the Rochester Rhinos against the Wilmington Hammerheads. Previously the Rochester Raging Rhinos, the association between a New York State-based soccer team and a horny mammal only seen in Africa and Asia is not entirely clear. As for the Hammerheads, at least they're based next to the sea. And better either of these than the Long Island Rough Riders.

The Rhinos are a division above their visitors, but have managed only one goal in three home ties in the cup this season, and that came in extra-time. They haven't conceded any yet, so Under 2.5 Goals is the call.
