A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way....

There's a clash of idealists in the Copa Libertadores tonight as the Paraguayan freedom fighters of Libertad (that's Liberty in English) take on the righteous Estudiantes (that's Students, for those with seriously under-powered imaginations) of Argentina.

Expect launderettes to go out of business as yogurt-weavers and soap-dodgers converge on Asuncion to discuss whether Stalin might be excused his misdemeanours.

The Joker certainly won't be there - he's got to stick around here and decide whether or not to vote BNP in the European elections - but he will be having a flutter on the match outcome.

Backpacking across the continent for their away games, Estudiantes have a poor record in recent times, losing nine of 13 games since 2006. Libertad, meanwhile, have won two of three games at the Estadio Dr Nicolas Leoz this season. Much as the fetid whiff of lefties hangs around the Paraguayan capital, so the sweeter aroma of value lingers over Libertad's [2.24] win price.

Recommendation: Back Libertad at [2.24] to beat Estudiantes
