A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way....

Tuscany, traditional home of Chianti-swilling Tony Blair supporters, is enjoying something of a football renaissance at the moment. Empoli, Siena and Livorno have all joined Fiorentina for spells in Serie A recently.

Tonight, Grosseto, from the badlands of south Tuscany, take a 2-0 lead into the second leg of their Serie B playoff with Livorno. It is a derby, of course, so naturally there was trouble at the first leg as visiting ultras vandalized a bar near the stadium, then started dismantling the stadium itself.

They don't drink, the Italians, so what the hell is their excuse?

The Joker's heard talk of the 'fiery Mediterranean temperament' before now, but you might have thought those classy Brits would be a pacifying influence. Anyhow, Livorno need to win this evening, but that is something they could not do in any of their last nine league games at the Stadio Armando Picchi.

Recommendation: Lay Livorno at [1.72] to beat Grosseto
