The CONCACAF Gold Cup continues today as Mexico take on the southernmost country in North America, Panama.

After some very poor efforts at the Beijing Olympics last year, the Mexicans were the butt of what is now a rather tired old gag about their best runners, jumpers and swimmers being the ones that make it over the US border.
