A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way....

The Joker awoke with a Start this morning when he remembered there were only seven football matches taking place in the whole world today and that related opportunities to make money and be funny were seriously limited.

So it is that he returns to Norway and the Tippeligaen. Fourth-placed Start play third-placed Molde this evening at home, where lately they have won three out of four games. 'Start the car!' is what the Joker might have written, if he understood cricket, and, more specifically, if he understood David Lloyd. If, hypothetically, he was slightly short of his word count, he might also have crowbarred a reference to his all-time favourite breakfast cereal into the column. As it is, the visitors' away form has taken a turn for the worse in the last few weeks, so he'll have to settle for backing Start to break the Molde.
