A tip from the joker to get your betting day under way......

1915. Gallipoli, Turkey. The first major engagement for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. A series of misjudgements by a pair of Australian colonels culminates in the disastrous Battle of the Nek.

1981. Gallipoli, the movie. Happy-go-lucky Australians, led by Mel Gibson, are sent over the top by a commanding officer with a suspiciously British accent.

2009. Somewhere in England. The Joker remains irked by Gibson.

Finally, an opportunity presents itself: Arezzo versus Gallipoli in the final match of the 25th round of the Serie C1B season. If Gallipoli can be beaten, everything can be forgotten about.

Gallipoli's a difficult place to go, we know that, but it turns out the football team's not so hot on the road. For this game, they've got to go all the way to Italy, where Arezzo have won seven of their 11 home league matches this season.

A different Gallipoli? Doesn't matter. Gibson's caused enough heartache already.
