A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way....

From a choice of one club game, the Joker has decided he will be betting on Arsenal FC's match with Independiente in the Argentinian Clausura tonight.

You may have noticed that one of the teams involved shares a name with an underachieving (or overachieving?) English club. This happy coincidence gives the Joker an opportunity to show his appreciation of the tireless work of sports-page sub-editors everywhere by repeating a favourite headline.

The story was that Julio Baptista would be leaving Arsenal because he did not like the English climate. The headline: 'Weather forces Baps out'.

Classy. Independiente have been beaten in seven of eight away matches in the league this year, only failing to lose to bottom-of-the-table Argentinos Juniors. Arsenal's form has not been good - they are currently second bottom - but they did win their last game at the 4-1 against high-flying Lanus.
