A joke and a tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way......

An Irishman out hunting in the woods comes across what appears to be the body of a famous footballer, who had been reported missing for several days.

Knowing the club the footballer belongs to, the hunter quickly phones the manager to tell him of his discovery. "I've found your missing player", he says, "But I think he is dead". Sounding terribly worried, the manager asks, "Can you be absolutely certain that he is dead?"

With those words the hunter puts his mobile phone to the floor, loads his shotgun, and fires a bullet into the chest of the footballer. He calmly picks up his phone and hears the manager screaming hysterically before announcing, "Arrgh calm down me friend you needn't worry now, I'm absolutely certain ye man's dead!"

Ballymena host Bangor in the Irish Premier Division tonight and I reckon the home team are far too short at [1.8]. They have lost more home games than anyone in the division (nine out of 14 played) and face a Bangor side that have scored six goals in their last three away matches. Lay Ballymena at [1.8].
