Ben Caudell has supported Petra Kvitova all week and sees no reason to desert her now

Petra Kvitova (CZE) v Victoria Azarenka (BLR)
I have been championing Kvitova all week and so far the Czech left-hander has done me proud with straight sets wins in all three round robin matches in and coming through a tough semi-final against Samantha Stosur 5-7 6-3 6-3.

The 2011 Wimbledon Champion will faces the biggest challenge of her week against a player who can rival her on both form and confidence coming into this mouth-watering final. However there are a few stats that persuade me to side with the number three seed to achieve her sixth tournament win of the year.

Firstly, and most importantly, is Kvitova's 3-2 head-to-head series lead over the Belarusian. She has three consecutive wins in the fixture, two of which were played in 2011 and all three wins were won by more than the handicap line of 2.5 games.

This afternoon's match will be the first on indoor hard between the pair and Kvitova has astounding form on the surface, having won 18 in a row on it.

She also has a decent record against top-10 players, winning four in a row, has won her last nine matches in a row in all competitions and has a good 7-3 record in tournament finals. Azarenka has lost four of her last five matches when priced as an underdog ([2.0] to [3.0])

Today's final is a tough one to predict with both players in such good form, however given Kvitova has won her last three matches against Azarenka and that her last 20 wins in all matches have been won by more than 2.5 games, my best bet is to get on the handicap market and back Kvitova -2.5 Games @ [2.18].

Recommended Bet
Back Kvitova -2.5 Games @ [2.18]
