"This pair are two of the game’s long match specialists and their last best of three sets meeting with one other lasted 34 games."

Marcos Baghdatis v Alexandr Dolgopolov may not be the most glamorous match of the day but these two should provide us with a good bet. Backing a high number of games in the match should pay out, says Sean Calvert.

Stan Wawrinka let us down badly yesterday at Indian Wells, but there was success for those that followed my suggested Betfair Multiple of Tomas Berdych, John Isner and Nico Almagro to ease the pain.

No doubt, Stan will claim to have been suffering from the sickness bug that has laid low a fair few players, staff and journalists, which has turned out to be the excuse of the week for some very questionable performances.

There was also the latest in a long running series of embarrassing Andy Roddick tirades to entertain us yesterday, as the fading American vented his frustration at his waning powers at the officials yet again in his loss to Berdych.

Tuesday at the BNP Paribas Masters boasts a line-up featuring Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, and Victoria Azarenka, with a supporting cast of Juan Martin Del Potro, Maria Sharapova and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Federer's match against Raonic will be essential viewing for night owls, with the Canadian taking on the Swiss for the very first time. Fed should come through this one, but he has been stunned before here by lower ranked players and Raonic will have his supporters at around [5.2].

Nadal should defeat countryman Marcel Granollers in their first ever meeting and I think that both Thomaz Bellucci and David Nalbandian have chances at good prices against Nikolay Davydenko and Janko Tipsarevic respectively.

But the bet of the day would have to be the high likelihood that Marcos Baghdatis v Alexandr Dolgopolov will go over the total games mark of 22.5 at around [1.9].

This pair are two of the game's long match specialists and their last best of three sets meeting with one other lasted 34 games.

Neither player is in particularly good form at the moment, with Marcos just about having the edge which makes him a slight favourite, but Dolgopolov is battling, as his win over my tip Steve Darcis (despite having to break serve to stay in it and losing a 28 point tie break) shows.

The pair have played four times in total over the past few years and their series is level at 2-2. Expect tonight's clash to go long again with neither player having the biggest of weapons with which to hit their way through these slow courts.

Neither man has ever been past the last 16 at Indian Wells, although this is only Dolgo's second visit here and in conditions that won't be favourable to either player, a wager on over 22.5 games at a price of around [1.9] looks a sensible play.
