Crashing out: Andy Roddick is out of the AEGON Championships

"The defeat has seen Roddick eased to 14.5 for the Wimbledon title after being matched at just 11.0 earlier on in the week."

Four-time Queens club champion Andy Roddick crashes out to Dudi Sela and drifts in the betting for Wimbledon...

Andy Roddick suffered a shock straight sets defeat to Israeli number one Dudi Sela in the AEGON Championships this afternoon. The American looked extremely impressive in yesterday's match and was one of the favourites to win a tournament where he's been crowned champion on no less than four occasions.

Last year's Wimbledon finalist got off to a good start, breaking Sela early on in the first set but was then broken twice himself as he succumbed to a 6-4 defeat. The second set was a lot tighter but despite holding a set point in the tie-breaker, Roddick couldn't capitalise and the World Number 63 wrapped up the match with a flying volley as the American tried to pass him at the net. Roddick was backed as low as [1.02] on Betfair to win a match that looked like a formality on what is arguably his favourite surface.

The defeat has seen Roddick eased to [14.5] for the Wimbledon title after being matched at just [11.0] earlier on in the week. Roger Federer is still the [2.44] favourite for success at SW19 with Rafael Nadal priced at [3.55]. The Spaniard, who is now the world number one after winning in Roland Garros last week is now the clear favourite to win at the Queens' club and trades at just [2.1] to win the event for a second time.
