Democrats:
Barack Obama won three huge victories last night. He won Maryland by 23%, Virginia by 29% and Washington DC by a massive 51%. All three victories were largely expected by the margins will come as a small surprise to many as Obama continues to build momentum.

The question now is whether or not Obama's momentum is stoppable. With a win for Clinton looking unlikely until at least March 3rd, and with Hawaii and Wisconsin to vote before then, it could be a gap that will prove too much for the Clinton campaign. All her hopes now rest on a strong showing on March 3rd, in which she must realistically win Texas and Ohio to keep in with a realistic chance of forcing the brakes on the Obama train.

Obama is now as short as [1.36] to win the nomination with Clinton at [3.7].

Obama's victory speech last night:

Republicans:
The victories were of similar margins for John McCain who won Maryland by 25%, Virginia by 9% and DC by 51%. His march towards the Republican nomination continues unabaded, though Mike Huckabee was never expected to win any of these three states.

McCain is now [1.05] on Betfair, a price he has been around for the last few weeks now.
