Stacey will have plenty of fashion shoots and premieres to attend after her victory in IACGMOOH is confirmed
"I’m not sure what anyone is hoping for by laying her at this stage – there’s absolutely no circumstances left which can make Stacey come off badly."
As we approach the finale, Stacey is in pole position to be crowned Queen of the Jungle according to the Betfair market. And it's not wrong....
The celebs are dropping like flies now but if you don't want to watch the closing stages of I'm A Celebrity then just check the Betfair markets - they've got the finishing positions sorted.
First things first - Stacey Soloman is as close to a shoo-in as you'll ever get in the topsy-turvy world of reality TV betting. She is now a [1.09] chance - equivalent to more than 91% probability - and there is absolutely no value in opposing her.
She's never been in the bottom two, everyone in camp loves her, is up for taking on any trial and is one of the sharpest minds the IACGMOOH jungle has ever seen. I'm not sure what anyone is hoping for by laying her at this stage - there's absolutely no circumstances left which can make Stacey come off badly.
Think about it. There are only three camp-mates left, so there won't be any arguments. One of them is Shaun Ryder, who only gets annoyed with Gillian McKeith, while Jenny Eclair will probably just be moaning that she's still in for another 24 hours. In short, the coast is clear for Stacey.
In any other year Shaun would have been a lot shorter than [15.5] at this stage but as it stands he's almost nailed on to finish runner-up. The only other celeb to not have been in the bottom two, the grumpy 48 year-old is the perfect blend of bad boy and gentleman - a tonic which has clearly gone down well with the public.
And lastly, Jenny Eclair should bring up the rear in third. She did well to beat Dom Joly in Thursday's vote-off but the fact she was in the bottom two shows she doesn't have anywhere near the fan base of Stacey or Shaun. Furthermore, her embarrassment at doing an improv routine in camp has damaged her rep - a comedienne who doesn't do improvisation? That's no good. Don't touch the [65.0] - she's got no chance.
So Stacey 1st, Shaun 2nd, Jenny 3rd - great, we've cracked it. The problem is - so has every other punter.
