Sally Bercow waves hello as she enters the house. She should practice that wave for her imminent eviction
"With politics at an all time hatred-high, she may be in-line to poll the highest amount of votes she’ll ever get in her career. It's a close call as the betting suggests."
Political wildcat Sally Bercow is already winding up the Big Brother house and, ergo, the watching hordes - no wonder she's odds-on to go, says Eliot Pollak
In perhaps the greatest act of discovery since Christopher Columbus saw some fatsos larging around by the shore, and said, "Looks like we've found America folks," millions of British television viewers have discovered Channel FIVE. I know, I know - I'd never heard of it either.
Like the USA, the newly-discovered FIVE is trashy, shallow and littered with recovering drug addicts. Viewing figures were through the roof for the opening night of BB - possibly due to all the new televisions fans had got hold of in recent weeks. And having lured in the hordes, Channel FIVE seem keen to give them what they like - keep the fans in their comfort zone if you like.
Cue that oh-so-predictable first night twist - the victim this time was Kerry Katona, who looks like Julie Walters playing Bridgette Neilsen. One would think that she would have learnt never to be the first person in the diary room on opening night but kids, this is what happens when one takes drugs. It addles the mind.
Forced to behave like a diva to disgruntle the other inmates, she made a good fist of it, but failed beneath the shadow of Jedward's almighty quiffs. Demanding voters will like the fact that she at least gave it a go however - she should survive the first eviction and may even go further. KK is currently [5.8] on the winner market behind only Jedward ([2.68]), who are yet to present themselves as two different people.
That eviction should be a shoot-out between unknown model Bobby Sabel ([2.38]) and political wildcat Sally Bercow ([1.82]). He doesn't have the celebrity profile demanded even by today's minute standards, but with politics at an all time hatred-high, she may be in-line to poll the highest amount of votes she'll ever get in her career. It's a close call as the betting suggests.
Elsewhere, Essex bikini-line dazzler Amy Childs has already served the show well by immediately getting into the habit of only wearing bikinis, regardless of any rain. And the one from Coronation Street has caught her eye with some gym workouts. Their will they/won't they/OH MY GOD THEY DID romance should see them safe for the time being. Childs is in fact 3rd favourite to win this thing - a bigger indictment of British culture than any week of rioting or looting could ever be.
